The Sunshine Coast will have a new General Motors dealership, Sunshine Coast Chevrolet Buick GMC. The new business will be operated by Trotman Auto Group, which was established in 1971. It now owns nine dealerships across the province, including one in Vancouver Island and one in Cranbrook. The company has won several awards, including Canada’s Best Managed Companies. The new dealership is the company’s first affiliation with a General Motors brand. The company relocated to the Sunshine Coast from its current location in Chilliwack and retained its staff.
