The theatre is operated by the Nambour Lind Lane Theatre Inc. and has a strong following in the community.

The Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre has performed Oliver, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, and Grease in the past. With more than fifty talented young performers, they’re sure to deliver an unforgettable show this year. This summer, Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre will present the Youth version of The Sound of Music, featuring a cast of fifty talented performers under the age of 18. The Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre Festival has an exciting line-up of events, including a variety of productions by young people from different schools. While St Andrew’s School wasn’t able to participate in competition due to conflicting events, their budding actors and actresses participated in the festival in collaboration with Little Seed Theatre Company. Their efforts paid off and the budding actors received Certificates of Distinction.

Youth theatre has the right to the same resources as other forms of theatre. It has the power to influence theatre practices and should work with high-quality artists. It should provide opportunities for young people to take risks in a safe and supportive environment. It is vital for their personal, social, and educational development.
